A Bit Of A Mouthful - About UsHow we started... A Bit Of A Mouthful Ltd was founded by Giles Broe and his passions for the senses of the mouth in what we both eat and drink. After years of cooking for many diverse clients from actors to racing car drivers and singers to dancers, it got Giles thinking, that everyone is different and so, of course, are their food needs. For Giles it really came down to something very simple. Whether it’s working away on the road with a band like U2 or for an occasion at home, when it comes to what YOU eat, only the best will do.

What we offer... ARTISTE'S CATERING - We offer a quality service only obtained by our vast experience and knowledge working directly with some of the finest names in the Music, Film AND Sport industries including Kylie, Madonna, U2, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen and Status Quo to name but a few. Giles and his team would travel with the acts and their entourage to each show or event and provide our own unique brand of event services.
FILM SET CATERING - Giles Broe, and the company, ‘A Bit Of A Mouthful’, have worked for many artists and events over the years, from Gary Oldman’s film “Nil By Mouth”, starring Ray Winstone & Kathy Burke, to Matthew MaConaughy & Penelope Cruz on the film ‘Sahara’, where he worked exclusively as a London private catering company for the artists preparing foods and drinks during the shooting of the film. We sourced all the provisions for the private catering from the local area. Our London Private Catering can also arrange for some items (like a Harrods Hamper) to be shipped over to an “On Location” site to help the artist recreate those home comforts too.
BACKSTAGE PARTIES - A Bit Of A Mouthful has hosted many backstage parties and events offering a licensed bar serving cocktails, alcohol & wine together with wide selection of food from canapés to Sushi.
PERSONAL CHEFS - If you desire privacy and still crave beautiful food, we can arrange for a chef to guarantee consistent provision of the highest quality to YOUR specifications. Our business aims at all times to supply its clients with a personable chef team who have both the culinary skills and resourcefulness to prepare distinctly personal foods that match those of its clients, under conditions from the most obscure to the most ordinary.
EVENT CATERING - Whatever your event from weddings, charity events, children's parties, galas, gallery openings, wrap parties, product launches, sporting events or staff parties, we can custom build a menu to meet YOUR requirements.
